MEASURE YOUR
CARGO FOOTPRINT.
Estimate the trailer floor length occupied by your road shipment.
CALCULATE YOUR
FLOOR SPACE.
Loading metre (LDM) estimates the trailer floor length occupied by a shipment. This calculation uses a standard internal width of 2.40 m.
The Euro pallet entry is an optional example only. Actual floor usage depends on arrangement and stackability.
A USEFUL STARTING<br/>POINT FOR PLANNING.
Use the estimate to describe your cargo when asking for a transport option.
What does LDM measure?+
Loading metres estimate the length of trailer floor occupied by cargo. The calculator divides the combined cargo footprint by a 2.40 m reference internal width.
Does the result confirm loading capacity?+
No. It is a planning estimate. Trailer type, dimensions, stackability, cargo shape, loading arrangement and axle or weight limits affect actual loading suitability.
How do I request a quote with the result?+
Use the quote link below the calculator. The calculated loading-metre summary is added to the email draft opened by the quote form.
